The birth certificate that I have say's I was born 12-20-1945 in Weiser, Idaho. It lists my name as Lois Ann Speer. My a-parents were Elmer and Marie Speer. It was a Doctor handled private adoption and I may have a twin sister. I believe I could have been born in N. Eastern Oregon, Ontario, Huntington, or Baker. I believe my place of birth and date of birth may have been altered.
I have natural flax colored hair and green eyes and a very fair complexion. I am 5'6" tall. I have several birth marks. One strawberry birth mark on face, and a brown one on leg, also some smaller ones scattered though out my hair. Since the adoption was on illegal terms my sister may not know her actual birth date or place. She also might not know she is a twin. There are things we know for sure. She and I are identical. I have brown hair, brown eyes, light complexion but tan easily, I'm 5'5" and am mixed blood Navajo. I can also pass as white, so she may have grown up believing she is white. I am searching for my twin brothers named daniel and gabriel saenz at birth. they were born prematurely at 7mos in nyssa oregon. my mother says she fed one of them and then the nurse took them away to be cleaned up while my mother rested. my mother was 19yrs old at the time and already had a 10mo old son...my parents were migrant workers back then and i think my father was feeling the pressure of being a parent and supporting the family. they were both shocked to find out they'd had twins. when my mother awoke, it was to find out that both twins had died. she didn't believe it and demanded to see them, whereas the doctor with my father's assistance, held her down and gave her a shot to sedate her which lasted 3days. upon awaking again she was told they were already burried and that it wasn't really good for her to visit the small graves. when she was released from the hospital, my dad moved the small family out of town and back to texas. there is no proof that my mother was ever in the hospital ditto the birth/death certificates or cemetary records. my father refuses to discuss this subject with us but my mother to this day believes that they still live because in addition to a mother's instinct she remembers the doctor making a comment about hispanics having so many children, and how she was so young and healthy.after he informed my mother that the twins had died he told her that "there would be more and who knows maybe this is for the best...they might've been murderers or thieves and this is god's way of stopping that". normally my father would be offended by such talk, however my mother noticed he kept talking in a low voice to the doctor and he wasn't broken up at all after the "burial". since it's a small town and it happened back then, i think that the birthcertificates could have been altered or just made to fit whomever was keeping the twins. although we are hispanic we all have light coloring because we are of Spanish descent so the only giveaway to the fact is the thick dark eyebrows. my mother is now 50 and my father 48. they are separated but she still harbors the hope of finding the boys and i'd like to help her but don't know where to start besides public records. anyone with similar dob even if months off could respond at onemaddmex@aol.com
