On September 5, 1957 I gave birth to a baby boy, 8 lbs. 12 ozs. in the Piedmont Hospital, Atlanta, Georgia. Because I was only sixteen and my parents in Charleston, S.C. were overly 'concerned' about what their 'snooty' Jewish friends would wag their tongues about, I was immediately 'shipped off' to the Florence Crittenden Home in Chamblee, Georgia (on Buford Hwy.) when I was bearly seven WEEKS pregnant; The Jewish Children's Services (Presently Cradle of Love) in Marietta took care of the adoption. My caseworker NOW deceased was Ethel Copelan...the attorney was Leon Elkin...I recall EVERYthing as if it was yesterday; I have never let a day go by without crying my eyes out over this horendos experience of having my son, who I named GARY DAVID EDWARDS, handed over to strangers (adoptive parents) on 7 Sept. 57 without me ever knowing WHO they were or WHERE they were taking him. I dearly loved my little bundle of joy and detested my parents until their passing. To bring closure to my ongoing pain/guilty consceious of having been FORCED to 'give him up' I need to know if Gary (named changed to "David" I think, not certain) is happy/well and alive. He would be 45 years old now, perhaps living in the state of Georgia; he may/may NOT be Jewish, though his adoptive parents WERE, I was told, hence why I did not have my OB at Piedmont Hospital (Dr. Scandalikus(?) ) circumsise my son, he was to be circumsised the 8th day from his birth by a "Moiler," an ancient practice amongst Jewish people for sanatary/disease-free purposes, way before other religions adopted the idea.

In 1967 Michael Stamoulis (the birth father) met a young woman named Sophie
Mor-Anne (though it is uncertain the spelling of her last name) They were
both in their early twenties and of course had a love affair, and resided in
Trois Rivier? Quebec. Because it being the sixties when she became pregnant,
they both became frightened and they split up and Sophie had made plans to
give the baby up. She gave birth to a little girl at the Montreal General
Hospital 01/01/68 naming her Isabelle before leaving her in the care of the
Catholic nuns who promised Sophie that Isabelle would keep the name her
mother gave her.
Micheal Stamoulis met a few months later with Sophie and she gave him the
information about Isabelle, also stating that she had put him down as the
father in the birth records. They did not meet again.
30 some years have past and Isabelle has a half sister, on top of the fact
that her Father has never forgotten about her. My name is Devine I am posting this info for B-father

I am the half-sister to Starrane Beth Stoutner, DOB August 5,1978 and Jeffrey Donald Stoutner, DOB October 5, 1980, both born at Nathan Littauer Hospital in Gloversville, New York. There biological mother took them to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, in May or June 1981 and put them in foster care and told them my father, there biological father, was dead, which is not true. We never knew they were in foster care until 2-3 years later. There mother took them out of NY without telling anyone and then told my father that they all lived in Ft. Lauderdale and everything was good. We found out 2-3 years later that they had been put in foster care. My father tried to get them back, but the state of Florida did not let him. I have been searching many years for them. I talked to there foster mother in 1991 and she said they are adopted together, but do not know we exist. His adopted parents divorced and his adopted mother took him up to New Jersey where she is from. His adopted father got remarried his name is Alex McCosh. I am the half-sister to Starrane Beth Stoutner, DOB August 5,1978 and Jeffrey Donald Stoutner, DOB October 5, 1980, both born at Nathan Littauer Hospital in Gloversville, New York. There biological mother took them to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, in May or June 1981 and put them in foster care and told them my father, there biological father, was dead, which is not true. We never knew they were in foster care until 2-3 years later. There mother took them out of NY without telling anyone and then told my father that they all lived in Ft. Lauderdale and everything was good. We found out 2-3 years later that they had been put in foster care. My father tried to get them back, but the state of Florida did not let him. I have been searching many years for them. I talked to there foster mother in 1991 and she said they are adopted together, but do not know we exist. Therefore, if they don't know we exist, they would not be looking for us. I have spent alot of money looking and have gotten no where.
